On the 8th of Feb 2017 the British Government published a white paper about solving the UK housing crisis - I have been working on this for over 2 years and now the business conditions are perfect to expand our UK housing business.

Everyone is looking for a safe and secure way of earning exceptional returns - well the UK housing industry offers that right now!

Here are my "Magnificent 7" observations that highlight potential opportunities;

1. UK Government is backing small to medium sized offsite modular construction companies
2. High density and multi-story housing is being encouraged for efficient land use
3. Build-to-Rent is now a favoured route to providing affordable housing
4. Local authorities may be encouraged to take back land held in land-banks
5. Central government will pressurise local authorities to deliver housing targets
6. Small brownfield sites to be targeted in a bid to protect the green-belt
7. The starter homes rule of 20% discount on 20% of new developments to be eliminated

Yesterday Jeremy Corbyn “crowdsourced” his questions to David Cameron at PMQ’s (Prime Minister’s Question Time) – he received an astonishing 40,000 replies from the public.

Sorting through these questions must have been a mammoth task! Despite this they came up with six questions which seem to have been the most requested – it was more than interesting to me that the very first question the new Labour leader asked was about affordable housing. Thank you Marie!
